Our industry constantly demands "Integrity". My understanding of this is, "The things we do when we're not being watched". If you have integrity the title and description means nothing because it's just part of who you are, it's part of your moral compass. There was a moment this week that reminded me why I choose to surround myself with the people I consider to be true friends... A simple spontaneous moment of unconditional kindness. As I entered the fuel station to pay, I saw my business partner Jordan Crown MSc leave the fuel station with a white carrier bag. When I looked out of the window he was walking to his car without the bag. After paying I saw the homeless guy who was sat by the door rummaging through that white carrier bag. Seeing this gave me the kind of feeling you get as a proud dad, and I actually smiled!! Jordan Crown MSc is not just the serious, angry and grumpy person that he wears as his resting bitch face... Well done mate 👏

It's International Mental Health Day - it's also a down day during one of our tasks. Having worked on the hills over the years and being veterans, it's natural to feel a yearning for the outdoors, of which the benefits should never be underestimated. Today Pete and Jordan went for a stroll up the cheeky Snowdon route. Due to an increase in our ad-hoc London-based protective service taskings, and with corrosive fluid offences (acid) still being a real-time threat, (albeit nowhere near as bad as it was in 2017) - we decided to replenish our Diphoterine kit.
