As we celebrate the one-year anniversary of the NHS Net Zero Carbon (#NZC) Coordinator role at CPW, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the significant milestones achieved, the challenges faced, and the exciting path forward. Our Associate, Amy Clutterbuck, has fully embraced this crucial role, driving sustainability efforts within healthcare estates and spearheading the journey toward decarbonisation. Looking back on her first year, Amy has witnessed incredible progress in a constantly evolving landscape — one that has shaped her role as an NHS NZC Coordinator. She highlights how vital her work is in guiding #NHS estates through the complexities of decarbonisation, particularly as the pressure to meet ambitious targets grows. “It’s crucial to have NHS NZC Coordinators on board to enable teams to stay up to date with the latest standards. We’re excited to share the work we've been doing at Bradford College's David Hockney Building as part of the push towards new vocational T-Level qualifications.  Our team collaborated with Sewell Construction and Turner & Townsend  to deliver state-of-the-art spaces, to empower students to develop hands-on skills and real-world experience! Creating high-quality training environments, including a commercial barbering salon, TV studio, media editing rooms, the development is part of a larger strategy to ensure the future of education meets the needs of industry!
