175 miles in 2 days - what a ride! A huge thank you to the team members, franchise partners, and suppliers who took part in the Costa Charity Cycle Challenge, raising money for the Costa Foundation! Our 25 riders, including 3 Foundation trustees, cycled a brilliant 175 miles over 2 days. This will help the Costa Foundation improve the life chances of children in coffee-growing communities by providing the opportunity for a safe, quality education. Since 2007, the Costa Foundation has enabled over 120,000 children to access a safe, quality education. This week, Philippe Schaillee and Sam O'Brien headed to the Middle East celebrating our heritage and future in the region, marking two incredible milestones. In 1999, we opened our first international store at Aviation Club, Dubai, with Emirates Leisure Retail (ELR). Today, this store continues to serve coffee as lovingly crafted as our relationship. To mark 25 years, Philippe and Sam joined the ELR team at Dubai Mall Zabeel. That’s not all. In Saudi Arabia, we celebrated 500 stores in the region, in Anas Bin Malik Nargis in Riyadh, with Alghanim Industries. Not only did we cut the ribbon to a new store, but also launched a collaboration with Chef Rakan Aloraifi, bringing delightful flavours to Saudi consumers. Thank you to all our partners for their part in growing Costa Coffee in the MENA region. We can’t wait to serve more cups of great coffee to customers in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Kazakhstan, and beyond, together.
