Funded by West of England Combined Authority, the next cohort of Entry to Tech is specifically for those of you based in the Bristol, Bath, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire regions. We’re excited to bring you not one but TWO mentorship programmes this autumn! The CBF x Monzo Bank Mentorship is back! It starts 19th November 2024 and you have until 4th October 2024 to apply to be a mentee. We’re looking for mentee applicants that are UK based with an interest in web, backend or mobile engineering. All experience levels are welcome. CBF x Wise Mentorship starts 16th October 2024 and the deadline for mentee applications is 4th October 2024. Wise is a tech company focused on global money transfers. This mentorship is global, so you can be based anywhere in the world! You just need to be a Software Engineer, Product Manager or Developer with an interest in web, backend or mobile engineering. All experience levels are welcome. We have some news! Applications are open for our AWS Re/Start bootcamp! The next cohort of this bootcamp starts on Monday 14th October 2024 and it is open to Black and ethnic minority women and gender minorities. To be considered for this bootcamp you must live in either London or the South West of England. We will be prioritising the unemployed and underemployed. On the bootcamp you will learn how cloud computing works, AWS Cloud skills, how to use different programming languages and prepare for AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification. After you graduate we will introduce you to employers and help you move into your new working life. This week we were all packing school backpacks with stationery and supplies as part of our Back to School Drive. This year we’re supporting almost 300 children across the UK! Thank you to everyone who’s been supporting and to Zopa Bank, UTAW UK, MRI Software and Principle One. We can’t wait for these backpacks to be delivered to children who need them the most.

Earlier this month we took our annual trip to Bletchley Park! This time around though we also went to The National Museum of Computing! It was such a fun day out. It's always great doing this day trip. Missed out? Keep an eye on our upcoming events.

These ladies are now a few weeks into the bootcamp!
