Chesterfield Group yet again took part in the annual MacMillan Coffee Morning by holding a cake sale. Macmillan Cancer Support is a UK charity supporting those with cancer and is 98% funded by voluntary donations. Our sale this year raised £394. Thank you to all the employees that baked, ate and donated!

Last week, #TeamChesterfield had the honor to host representatives from Burns & Wilcox Commercial and Personal Lines, RB Jones, and Canadian Transportation, for our annual Kaufman International Leadership Training program (KILT). KILT is an educational trip that builds stronger connections to the Kaufman companies in the U.K./Europe, our London syndicates and the Lloyd’s market overall. It was a great week full of connecting, learning and growing. Thank you to everyone who participated! 

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear friend and colleague Matt Lawford on 15th June. He passed away peacefully with his family present. Matt was a larger than life character full of humour and a pleasure to be around. He formed strong and lasting friendships with colleagues, clients and underwriters alike. Along with in-depth knowledge of the Film, Media and Advertising industry, his dedication to clients was unsurpassed. For over 40 years the industry has greatly benefited from his passion and expertise in structuring insurance solutions together with his insightful talks and mentoring.    Throughout his illness Matt conveyed a positive mental attitude which was an inspiration to us all - he will be greatly missed.   Our special thoughts and prayers are with Matt’s wife Emma and their daughter Imogen.
