Over the past couple of months we have had some great interns working with us at chapmanbdsp, Amelie Gadsby and Ben Emru Lauckner Rothschild have been working alongside our teams gaining valuable experience and insight. Here’s a look at their personal experiences from the past few weeks. Ben Emru Lauckner Rothschild said: ‘Interning at chapmanbdsp has enabled me to implement knowledge gained from my degree to complete various tasks I have been assigned. I have been able to use fluid dynamics in a practical setting and develop my understanding of various mechanical systems. I’ve gained valuable technical and workplace skills, including cooperation and communication. This experience has shaped my career goals, highlighting the importance of environmental impact in building services and the value of a supportive work environment.’ Amelie Gadsby said: ‘During my time at chapmanbdsp I have significantly expanded my understanding of building services and environmental consultancy, a field not covered in my university studies. I've applied my CAD skills and gained proficiency in Revit, while also developing interpersonal and presentation skills, especially through presenting at the Young Engineers and Business Management Forum. This experience has inspired me to pursue a career focused on sustainability or in the environmental sector, aligning with my passion and future aspirations.’ #internship #buildingservices #engineeringexcellence
