“Mental Health at Work”. That’s the theme for this year’s #WorldMentalHealthDay 🧠💭 🔟 Since its creation in 1992, October 10th has been recognised as World Mental Health Day, which aims to raise awareness about mental health issues, promote mental well-being, and advocate for better mental health care worldwide. ❗This year’s theme highlights the importance of addressing mental health and wellbeing in the workplace, for the benefit of people, organisations, and communities. 🥵 Burnout, caused by stress and pressure, is the leading cause of Mental Health issues among workers, but with the stigma that still surrounds mental health, individuals find it difficult to seek help when in need. 👂Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAs) help to bridge this gap by offering a listening ear, promoting early intervention, and signposting to additional sources of support. So, as it is World Mental Health Day, here’s a few words from some of our MHFAs at Cavendish 👇 #MentalHealthMatters #EndTheStigma #MentalHealthAwareness

Energy security and decarbonising our supply are among the most critical global challenges of our time. For Northern Ireland, traditionally reliant on fossil fuel imports, the journey to net zero by 2050 is a key priority, as set out by the Department for the Economy. But what does the public think? Download our insight report to view our polling results on the public's perception and what this means for the renewables sector in Northern Ireland: https://lnkd.in/ep3ij_rh Later this year, we'll extend this research to MLAs, offering the first comparison of public and representative perspectives on this issue. #NetZero #RenewableEnergy #Decarbonisation #Sustainability #NorthernIreland

What has the team been up to? Here’s our highlights: 🔴 It's been a busy week in Liverpool, as the team travelled up north for three days of the hashtag #LabourPartyConference. 🌊 Over the weekend, Bronagh Adjey volunteered with Sea2it for a coastal clear-up near the Giant's Causeway nature reserve in Northern Ireland. 🏅Not many can say that they've taken on Ireland's longest zipline, but for Lindsay Millar and Zoe Faulkner it's certainly an experience they will never forget. 🎤 Oliver Hazell, joined an insightful discussion about what the real estate sector should expect to see from our new Government, at this year's Urban Living Festival. 👮 Executive Director, Gareth Morgan met up with MP and Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ) black belt, Will Stone MP, for a chat about how BJJ/Grappling training could improve UK police performance, as well as the safety of officers and the public. ⚡ The team headed to the NEC in Birmingham for the 2024 Solar and Storage Live exhibition event and were treated to watch the European Solar Games 2024 semi-final. 🤝 Rebecca Langton was in Birmingham for an exciting client meeting about a major redevelopment scheme coming soon to Nottingham.
