    Yesterday, we teamed up with Retail Gazette & Grocery Gazette to host an insightful retail media breakfast, delving into the rising influence of Retail Media Networks (RMNs). 💡   We talked about the big challenges UK retailers, brands, and agencies are facing as they work to boost footfall and grow their businesses. A huge thanks to the senior leaders from Ocado Retail, Holland & Barrett, Karo Healthcare, MOSCOT, Stores Supply , Bedkingdom.co.uk, guitarguitar, Sellex AB, and Webloyalty for sharing their thoughts on both the perks and hurdles of RMNs.   We also explored ways retailers, CPGs, and agencies can team up for success—these include offering flexible and precise targeting across platforms, delivering best-in-class media solutions, providing robust measurement options, and simplifying the process for testing and learning.   Thanks again to everyone who joined us!     This week we have launched our digital rewards campaign in partnership with Peter's Yard!   This digital rewards solution is a major milestone for Catalina UK, and a game-changer for the brand as we tap into the digital sampling arena.   Offering a seamless and cost-effective way to sample products, extend reach, drive sales and measure impact, the campaign will see 20K sample packs and flyers distributed across multiple touchpoints.     Yesterday Huma Khan, MSc MABP, Premal Patel and Simon Betts from Team Catalina UK attended the greyhairworks! event. Huma told everyone in attendance a bit about who we are as a brand, what we do, and more importantly, why we do it.     Yesterday was a HOT day in more ways than one🔥🥵🔥 Thank you to Marks and Spencer for hosting us (and the wonderful food) at the greyhairworks! event last night. We were proud to sponsor this closed door event with a diverse selection of some of the finest minds across a range of industries including retail, data intelligence and CPG. I really enjoyed the keynote from Paul Wilkinson at Deliveroo talking about how they are using AI to improve customer experience and reduce costs. It was also thoroughly refreshing to hear from Claire Valoti ex VP of Snap Inc. talking about the power of positive disruption not just in the market but, also within our corporate cultures. As someone who has never shied away from challenging the status quo😜 understanding why things are done the way they are and being curious about how we can improve, is the foundation for growth and innovation. I was also given the opportunity to share a little bit about who we are at Catalina UK, what we do, and more importantly why we do it ❤️. It was an honour to share a little story about how our 5 founders conceived the first 1:1 Digital Marketing Network after a fortuitous boat trip to Catalina Island off the coast of LA, and how some 40 years later our reach extends far beyond the first personalised coupons that revolutionised the use of data science with scanner based check-out technology, to now include the full marketing mix across paper and digital solutions at every touchpoint in and out of homes so that we can add a little more joy to every shopper’s experience.     We have had a fantastic couple of team offsites recently! 🎉 Our first was an opportunity for the Delivery Team to share accomplishments and improve how we deliver for our customers. The entire UK team also came together to celebrate our H1 successes and Richard Heast's 25th anniversary at Catalina as our resident IT Manager, colleagues from our Paris HQ also joined us for a lively team social at Flight Club, Victoria, where things got pretty competitive over darts!
