It is with great sadness that we are today announcing the closure of Canopey. We will be shutting the marketplace on Friday 7th November. If you have a gift card with us we encourage you to use up the remaining balance, but if not we will refund the remaining amount. Don’t worry – we’re not going anywhere anytime soon. We will be here to process and check over any remaining orders and assist with any customer service needs you have. On a personal note, we started Canopey with the mission to make sustainable choices easier for everyone, and we’re so proud of what we have achieved to make that happen! We want to personally thank you for supporting Canopey and being part of our wonderful community, sharing wisdom and low waste living tips, celebrating the positive news in the world, and creating awareness about climate change together. We’re a small team, but we’re proud of what we’ve accomplished with your help! Together we’ve saved... ☁️ The CO2 of 6,000+ miles driven 🧴 2,000+ kg of plastic waste 💧 600,000+ litres of water waste 🌳 And planted more than 20,000 trees (that’s more than 20 football pitches!) We've also supported the incredible work of charities like City to Sea, Surfers Against Sewage, Medical Aid For Palestinians and many more. You’ve helped support the most exciting up and coming impact-driven brands here in the UK. From female-founded apparel, to cutting-edge low waste cleaning products, and ethical food and drink producers that support farmers with fairer wages. There’s a lot to be excited about when it comes to the sustainability movement, but we cannot be complacent. We will personally continue to fight the climate crisis, which we strongly believe is the most important issue of our time, and we want to use this opportunity to encourage you to do the same. We must keep pushing as consumers, citizens, employees and activists, to show governments and businesses that we need real action. Now is the time to be the change we want to see.
