About us
Cambridge Council for Voluntary Service (CCVS) is an independent registered charity, set up by local organisations as an infrastructure and network organisation to empower community and voluntary groups in Cambridge, South Cambridgeshire and Fenland. We have three key objectives Representation: We act as a voice for voluntary groups in our area, contributing to all the major committees and partnerships that meet to determine public policy and action in Cambridge, South Cambridgeshire and the County Networks: We bring groups together and provide the support for themed and geographical networks Organisational Development: We provide training and one to one help and support for community and voluntary groups to become stronger and more sustainable.

Join our team as a Finance Manager! Leading our charity's financial operations, your role will include preparing financial reports, supporting strategic planning, managing income streams, coordinating grant disbursements, ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing treasury management and bookkeeping. Hours: Part-time, 2-3 days a week. The exact working hours are flexible and open to negotiation. Location: Hybrid. Mostly home-based with some office work, when required, in Cambridge. Occasional travel is required. Salary: Up to £45,000 pro rata, depending upon experience.
