"GPs use AI to boost cancer detection rates in England by 8%" Thrilled to see the impact of C the Signs covered in The Guardian Observer, highlighting the outstanding results we have seen in cancer detection in the NHS. 📰 🙌🏾 C the Signs increased cancer detection rates from 58.7% to 66.0% in GP practices. ✨ GP and Cancer Lead, Dr Peter Holloway shared in the piece how patients who would typically be missed have been identified with cancer earlier and treated successfully due to the technology. We are thrilled to have presented the data from our landmark study at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) 2024, with findings showing an improvement in cancer detection rates of over 12% in GP practices utilising C the Signs in Ipswich and East Suffolk🙌 It was an honour to co-author this study, with Dr Peter Holloway and Claire Corbett from NHS Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care Board (SNEE), and Seema Dadhania from Imperial College London 👏 This study, conducted in partnership with SNEE, with the support of East of England Cancer Alliance and Health Innovation East, underscores the importance of integrating cutting-edge technologies into primary care to improve cancer detection rates and facilitate early-stage diagnosis.
