We are proud to announce that our Operations Manager, Innes Murray ChPP, has been shortlisted for the Social Value Champion Award by the Social Value Portal awards, which are dedicated to recognising the contributions that organisations and individuals have made towards the Social Value Economy. Innes has been a key player in embedding social value at the heart of BTTC's operations, demonstrating exceptional leadership in driving positive social impact through initiatives such as the cycle to work scheme in the UK and the ‘Building Brighter Futures’ programme in Canada, which dedicates 1% of our Canadian business’s pre-tax profits to supporting Indigenous students in post-secondary education. Since joining us in 2019, Innes has shown dedication to creating a socially responsible business environment. Well done, Innes!

BTTC has secured accreditation as a Living Wage Employer from the Living Wage Foundation.   Since our formation in 2016, we have paid all our employees above the Living Wage including temporary staff and apprentices. Gaining this accreditation shows our commitment to being a socially responsible employer. Yesterday, our Managing Consultant Andrew Polycarpou arranged a site visit to HS2 Old Oak Common for our new cohort of graduates: Abdullah Choudhury, Lowri Evans, Anna Yong, Maddox Clarke and Amber Muneer. They were joined by our Senior Consultant Tom Jerrard and Consultant Michelle Haddock. We extend a special thanks to Matthew Davies, Claire Seib and Katie Masters for facilitating the visit.   This informative site tour was a fantastic way for our graduates to begin their careers at BTTC.

Driven by our key strategic goals of 'leaving a lasting legacy' and 'passion for our people', BTTC partnered with Business in the Community to give back to our communities through their Job Coaching Programme. This initiative involved assisting those facing barriers to employment through a series of coaching sessions. Read about our experience on the Business in the Community website linked below.

At BTTC, we take great pride in the strong sense of community we have cultivated. This year’s Summer Social was a testament to this as we united all our people from Manchester, London, Birmingham and Toronto. The day was dedicated to sharing insights, celebrating achievements, and fostering collaboration. To thank our people for their outstanding efforts in 2024, the evening followed with our very own BTTC festival. We look forward to many more moments of collaboration and celebration in the future.
