The #netzero transition must ramp up exponentially in order to succeed in averting worsening climate change. The international standards system is a powerful existing market mechanism that is poised to scale and accelerate the transition. That's why BSI is sponsoring Climate Week NYC this year, and hosting a panel featuring ISO - International Organization for Standardization Secretary-General Sergio Mujica, to discuss development of the world's first verifiable international net zero standard for organizations! Nearly two fifths (38%) of organizations expect to use AI to support the management, measurement and reporting of sustainability goals. However, there is a gulf between different markets - with 52% of Indian business leaders seeing AI's potential to support sustainability, versus just 27% of business leaders in Japan.
