Last week Cllr Paul Bidwell, executive member for economy and regeneration, was given a guided tour of Richfords Fire and Flood’s new premises in the Western Business Area, by Michael Cooper, business development director for Richfords Fire and Flood. Richfords was founded in 1977 and is a specialist in damage restoration following fire or flood. To find out more, visit their website (link in comments). Cllr Paul Bidwell, said: “It was a pleasure to meet with Michael and to welcome Richfords Fire and Flood to Bracknell. Having businesses expanding in Bracknell Forest continues to strengthen our local economy and is key to the delivery of our economic strategy. "One of the reasons they chose to reinvest here is the fantastic connectivity that Bracknell offers, with easy access to the M3 and M4 motorways and good local road network. They are a great addition to the Bracknell business community and are looking forward to also working with other companies in the Bracknell Business Improvement District. Wishing Richfords Fire and Flood all the very best for their future in Bracknell Forest.” Are you a Bracknell Forest business? We would love to hear from you and what you are doing. Please email us to be part of our business liaison programme: [email protected]. Richfords Fire and Flood Paul Bidwell

Provisional data shows that, while there has been a small drop in the rate nationally, there has been an increase in the proportion of students achieving Grade 4 or above in Bracknell Forest schools. In particular, there is a higher proportion of students achieving a Grade 4 and above in both English and Maths than is showing in the national data.
