We’re proud to share that Professor Peter Childs, FREng, former Co-Director of Energy Futures Lab, has been awarded the International Council of Design Lifetime Achievement #Award for his contributions to design. This prestigious award recognises impactful contributions in design practice, education and promotion. As Professorial Lead in Design Engineering at the Dyson School of Design Engineering, Imperial College London, Professor Childs has advanced the integration of design and engineering and expanded the school into a community of over 900 students and staff. His work spans ventures like BladeBUG Ltd and Q-Bot Ltd and collaborations in AI, energy, and fashion. Congratulations to Peter on this well-deserved honour!
