About us

Join our network on our website: blackapprenticenetwork.co.uk We, at the Black Apprentice Network (BAN), are the first apprentice community that has ever been established nationally. And we wanted the first to be for our black community. Contact us: [email protected] Starting in the UK, we created a vibrant community for aspiring and current apprentices of African and Caribbean descent where they can learn, connect and grow together, helping them succeed before their apprenticeship, during and beyond. We at BAN are guided by the values of: COMMUNITY-DRIVEN - We been found there was no community built for African/Caribbean apprentices. We therefore created a space for growth, a space for sharing experiences and a space for collaboration for current and aspiring apprentices. TRANSFORMATION - We strive not merely engage with current and aspiring apprentices, but transform their professional lives through this community. We want to see profoundly impact whoever engages with us and leave our community better after engaging with us. KAIZEN - This is the Japanese word for continuous, never-ending improvement. We want to make sure we are finding and utilizing new, innovative ways of helping aspiring and current apprentices achieve their goals, succeed professionally and find community.
