𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐀𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐮𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐛𝐝𝐡𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠! 🦘🌏 Today, we’re celebrating the strong connections between Australia and the UK—two amazing countries we’re proud to work across as a dual-licensed financial planning firm. Whether it’s helping clients make a big move, plan for their future, or navigate the financial complexities of living abroad, we’re here to ensure smooth transitions and successful financial outcomes. Our Group MD, Simon Harvey returned from visiting our Perth office last week. Of course, he couldn’t come back empty-handed, so the UK office is celebrating Australia Day today with a stash of Tim Tams.🍫 It’s a small (but delicious!) way to celebrate the interconnection and camaraderie we share with our Australian counterparts. Wherever you’re celebrating, we wish you a very Happy Australia Day (and maybe even a Tim Tam or two!). #AustraliaDay #FinancialPlanning #GlobalConnections #bdhSterling

🏏 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐬: 𝐀 𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐲 𝐋𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐍𝐨 𝐎𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫! 🏏 As a dual-licensed financial planning firm, with offices in both Australia and England, we are well aware of the long-term cricket rivalry between the two countries. The Ashes rivalry is one of the greatest in all sports, not just cricket. It dates back to 1877, with Australia currently holding the legendary urn after the excitement of the drawn series in England in 2023. The next instalment starts in Perth in November later this year as England look to regain the Ashes they lost in 2017. Before that we can enjoy the currently ongoing Women’s Ashes series taking place in Australia. The highlight will the test match at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground, where the first-ever England v Australia test was played 148 years ago. The Ashes rivalry has produced many extraordinary moments. In our opinion, four of the most memorable are: 1. 𝐎𝐥𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝟏𝟗𝟗𝟑 – With his first delivery in Ashes cricket, Shane Warne produces “the ball of the century” to England’s Mike Gatting 2. 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟗 – England still need 75 to win, and only have one wicket remaining. Cue the most extraordinary innings from Ben Stokes 3. 𝐄𝐝𝐠𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟎𝟓 – After an incredible comeback, Australia need just three runs to win, but Michael Kasprowicz is dismissed by Steve Harmison to end the closest Ashes test ever 4. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝟏𝟗𝟒𝟖 – Don Bradman – the greatest batter of all time – walks out to bat to a standing ovation in his last ever test match Join in the debate and vote for your greatest England v Australia moment in our poll below: Once you’ve cast your vote, read our previous article about 10 important financial planning lessons you can learn from the Ashes >> https://lnkd.in/e5FRjmg9 #Cricket #TheAshes #Ashes2025 #CricketRivalry #FinancialPlanning #Australia #England
