Louder Than Words just got even more exciting! 🎉 We’ve officially launched the fringe agenda, offering an event experience like no other. We knew the agenda for Louder Than Words couldn’t take a typical one-size-fits-all approach. That’s why, after morning sessions at the main stage, you have the freedom to choose your afternoon sessions. Fringe sessions are taking place in unique locations across Oxford, from pubs to the Town Hall debating chamber. 🏫 With over 40 sessions to choose from, led by B Corps, activists and allies of the movement, these sessions will touch on a range of topics tailored to suit your interests, address the needs of your business and enable us to collectively tackle the biggest challenges facing our society and planet today. Curious about how B Corp standards are evolving? Make sure to add our ‘Walk the Talk’ exhibition to your agenda at Louder than Words. On both days, tour the exhibition stands at Oxford Town Hall displaying the proposed new standards. Join daily lunchtime Ask-Me-Anything sessions with the standards team at B Lab Global, including Judy Rodrigues, director of standards, Bernard Gouw, and David Leathers, senior program manager. We’re thrilled to announce that experienced event host Shonali Devereaux (she / her) and Young Host Mathilde Gerritsma, will be joining us on the main stage at Oxford’s New Theatre. Shonali has over 20 years of experience hosting live events across the world. Her approach to hosting will ensure you, our audience, will feel truly immersed in the festival. Our Young Host, Mathilde has been training with The Attendee Experience Company to advance her skills and confidence in presenting. As our Young Host, Mathilde will be sharing her perspective as a member of the youngest generation in the B Corp community and ensuring future generations are not forgotten about during sessions. 🙌 We’re excited to welcome them both to the stage at Louder Than Words, bringing their unique perspectives to the sessions and ensuring we turn ideas into action and tackle the issues that matter most. We’re thrilled to see our head of growth, Annie Olivier feature in a recent Vogue Business piece exploring how brands are battling the beauty industry’s waste crisis. 🗑️ Some key takeaways: ➡ Certifications are proving to be a real differentiator for shoppers, giving them added trust in their purchases. ➡ Labour rights stand out. 68% of shoppers say it is important for a brand to pay a living wage, while a brand’s commitment to diversity and inclusion is almost just as crucial. When asked ‘What do you expect to emerge as the next frontier in ESG?’ Annie stated: “The way we’ve been doing business for the past few decades cannot continue, and it’s going to take innovative leadership to help us think outside the norm and design a truly inclusive and regenerative economic system.
