We are honoured to have recently hosted senior representatives from the UK Ministry of Defence, including the UK Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) and the British Army Field HQ, at our headquarters in Wiltshire. Our esteemed guests, who manage the through-life support of military equipment, toured our facility and met with our Senior Global Product Manager—APR, Mike Lee, to discuss our ongoing collaboration and commitment to providing top-tier CBRN personal protective equipment. Avon Protection is proud to have secured a contract worth up to £38 million to continue supplying the General Service Respirator (GSR) to the UK Armed Forces. This contract reaffirms our dedication to safeguarding those who defend our nation. The twin-canister, single-visor GSR is the standard issue respirator for all UK service personnel, providing high-performance filtration protection in CBRN threat environments. This contract not only supports the production and supply of GSR, but also sustains highly skilled jobs at our Melksham facility and within the UK supply chain––ensuring the nation maintains a sovereign CBRN protection capability through domestic production and R&D. We are very pleased to announce this morning that Team Wendy has received a follow-on delivery order worth around $19.5 million from the US Defense Logistics Agency under the second-generation Advanced Combat Helmet framework contract. In addition, overall trading has continued to be strong and the benefits of our focus on efficiency, and good operational execution are contributing to faster than expected progress in both Avon Protection and Team Wendy. As a result, we now expect the Group’s full year revenue and adjusted operating profit to be ahead of previous expectations.
