While it may feel like last week's budget is paling into insignificance in the context of global political events, there's plenty that needs unpacking on what the Labour's drive for growth means for commercial property, and expect we'll talk a bit about what it means for London too.

It’s difficult to understate the importance of this project for the UK’s growth. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of developing a place-based, bottom-up approach to building a strong case that maximises economic growth and connectivity between the Liverpool City Region and Greater Manchester. Working with other business leaders and industry specialists from across the north, I look forward to helping regional leaders on the Liverpool-Manchester Railway Board build the business case for the most ambitious new railway line possible.
