🚀 We’ve raised £2.6M to build sustainable, affordable and beautiful homes! 🚀 Today, the world faces many big challenges. There is a huge and urgent need for affordable low-energy homes, but currently, these are expensive to build and difficult to deliver at scale. Building high quality, sustainable timber homes is hard to scale, but AUAR is here to change that. AUAR is on a mission to address these challenges by building a global ecosystem of 🤖 automated micro-factories 🤖 to deliver sustainable, affordable and beautiful homes to millions of people. AUAR offers a different vision for the built environment. Automation is not centralised into large factories. Instead, we license the company’s low CapEx robotic micro-factories and tech stack to a network of existing home builders, enabling us to deliver sustainable and affordable homes at scale. Just 1 AUAR micro-factory enables a £1m revenue creation opportunity per year for home builders, drastically reducing the risk in adopting robotics in construction. This Seed round will continue to support the growth of our existing partner network in Europe and the expansion of our operations in the US. 📣 2024 📣 has been a year of execution for AUAR with an exciting milestone last week: we shipped two of our robotic Micro-Factories to our first US partners Rival in the US! AUAR’s Micro-Factories will be deployed by Rival, a real estate development and construction firm, to build thousands of sustainable and affordable homes across the Midwest. The two Micro-Factories can each produce up to 180 homes a year. Unlike existing solutions, our Micro-Factories don’t require big factories to be set up and have a quick lead time of 12 weeks from order to shipping. We can’t wait to see the Micro-Factories in production! To get the team at Rival up and running with AUAR’s technology, an innovative low-energy ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) will be built first.
