It was fantastic to welcome so many startups with diverse founders, VCs and corporate partners to our EVA 'Inclusive Energy' event yesterday. 🌈 🧩 As part of our Energy Ventures Accelerator (EVA) programme, this networking evening provided a forum to share ideas on how we can work together to champion inclusive growth as we innovate to enable the energy transition. 💡 We heard from our keynote speaker Laura Wood, who spoke about some of the challenges she's faced and the importance of not giving up in the face of adversity. A key insight was the importance of drawing on the power of connections to progress ideas that will help us learn to do old things in new ways. 🙏 Thank you to all our guests for attending and connecting with us. Thank you to our hosts and partners Plug and Play Tech Center for helping to deliver a standout event. 🏭 Next up >> our EVA Humber Innovation Day on 12th November, where we’ll explore the future of industrial decarbonisation in the Humber region. ◼️ When: 12th November, 1-6 pm ◼️ Where: Aura Innovation Centre, Hull 👉 Don't miss your chance to register: https://lu.ma/zg3de8es Photos credit: Susanne Hakuba #EnergyTransition / #Startups / #InclusiveEnergy / #ABPventures / #CCS / #OffshoreWind / #IndustrialDecarbonisation / #EnergyGeneration / #ClimateTech / #DiversityInclusion / Future Humber, Department for Energy Security and Net Zero / Department for Business and Trade, Plug and Play Europe / Greg Lacey / HEY Business, Growth and Skills Hub / Invest Hull / Invest East Yorkshire / Humber Freeport / Made Smarter Yorkshire & Humber / British Business Bank / University of Hull / RenewableUK / reNEWS - Renewable Energy News / Women in Transport / Women in Renewable Energy (WiRE) /
