Made by Asprey using the highest quality sterling silver and silver gilt, the Premier League trophy is one of the most recognisable awards on the globe. As the Premier League kicks off this weekend, clubs are embarking on a 38-week competition to have their name etched into history. But what will happen to the trophy once the champion is declared at the end of the season? Each year, this iconic trophy is returned to Asprey’s silversmiths for restoration and the hand-engraving of the season’s victorious team that season. The pinnacle of European football. The Euros competition elicits equal jubilation and heartbreak, representing some of the most iconic moments in the sport—lifted by some of the greatest players to have lived. Named the Henri Delauney trophy, after the first General Secretary of UEFA, Asprey was proudly commissioned to produce the new version of the cup in 2008. Crafted from the finest sterling silver, it took one-hundred-and-seventy hours to create and stands at a bold 60cm in height. A monumental award that matches the monumental nature of the achievement.

Asprey has officially opened its second London boutique within The Peninsula London hotel. Overlooking Hyde Park Corner, the boutique offers 2,293 square feet (213 square meters) of retail space and a unique bar, designed by Storey Studio, the London-based architectural practice behind the Asprey 240 flagship store on 36 Bruton Street, Mayfair. “I’m so glad to be able to offer a second home for Asprey clients in London, and we couldn’t hope for a better partner than The Peninsula Hotels for this project.
