At our recent vibrant places event, we had the please of hearing from our fantastic panellists who shared insight on their experiences, thoughts, and journey surrounding creating a vibrant place. Luke Hillson from Marrons said: “Currently, it feels like the planning system sometimes has it’s default position set to ‘no’ regarding applications – the way we expedite the delivery of vibrant places is turning that default ‘no’ to a ‘yes’ if the applications being made go above and beyond the minimum planning requirements and create highly vibrant places.” Download our vibrant places report here: https://lnkd.in/epSwhBsD Ben Buckton Sarah Walker-Smith Emma Houghton Jemma Page Sophie Mee Daljit Flora Amarysia Aujla #VibrantPlaces #Leadership #Sustainability #Housing #Community #Development

At our recent vibrant places event, we had the please of hearing from our fantastic panellists who shared insight on their experiences, thoughts, and journey surrounding creating a vibrant place. Tariq Shah OBE from Vigo Group said: “If we’re going to build more houses then we need to see real public and private partnerships. We need to honest about whether there is risk and where there is reward and share this equally – for too long we’ve left the risk at the door of the public sector, while accepting all the reward in the private sector.” Download our vibrant places report here: https://lnkd.in/epSwhBsD #VibrantPlaces #Leadership #Sustainability #Housing #Community #Development Ben Buckton Sarah Walker-Smith Emma Houghton Jemma Page Sophie Mee Daljit Flora Amarysia Aujla
