An incredible day for our mid-year Managers Meeting held at Brands Hatch Racecourse today. Our huge thanks to Cheshire Mouldings and Woodturnings Ltd for the use of their hospitality suite and a pleasure to have Brendan McNally with us this morning to talk through upcoming range opportunities. Great overviews of the year and upcoming activity from our MD Neil Fuller and Directors, along with Sales, Finance, Marketing and Commercial Managers. The afternoon has been a further focus on our accreditation for the National Standard of Psychological Safety with César Gamio, who’s joined us on a blisteringly hot day to keep us moving forwards for this important new accreditation for Alsford. There’s been additional excitement with the bikes at full speed on the racetrack next to us in the amazing sunshine, & it’s all added to the passion for the great plans being shared for the second half of the year. Let’s hope the sunshine stays with us as we journey forwards too!

What a day! and what a night to follow! The Alsford Supplier Showcase that took place at Lingfield Park Racecourse on 13th June was truly spectacular. With over 140 years in business, there's a lot that happens behind the scenes every day. Alsford Managing Director, Neil Fuller, spoke with #itvtonight recently on the issue of persistent illegal fly tipping near our Head Office in Dartford, Kent. Alsford are a passionate voice in the local area on this issue, and Neil highlighted, “It is important that we live and work in an environment we can be proud of. Right now fly tipping has reached unprecedented levels on the roads in this area, and it is only a matter of time before we witness a serious injury or fatality. Illegal fly tipping on Ness Road has reached endemic proportions and we cannot sit by and watch our business neighbourhood persistently blighted. Here at Alsford we take all aspects of corporate social governance responsibly, and are committed to operating in a safe and environmentally conscious manner. We continue to offer our backing and support to the local council in all the measures they are using to monitor and control the persistent fly tipping in this area and encourage more stringent measures to be enforced."
