🌍 EUROPEAN MONTHLY ROUND UP - SEPTEMBER 2024 🌍 We're back with our monthly round up of the exciting updates taking place throughout Alliance Automotive Group Europe this month. Take a look at what some of the countries have been up to below: 🔵 Alliance Automotive Group UK & Ireland In the UK, they hosted the IAAF for their latest Regional Meeting, hitting record attendance, in their NAPA hospitality unit at Donington Park. It was an honor to offer a venue for the IAAF team's regional meeting, which provided insights into the federation's activities for members and featured distinguished speakers from the automotive industry. NAPA Racing UK drivers Dan Cammish and Sam Osborne also sported the VR1 Racing branding with stunning new livery, race suits, and team merchandise at the penultimate round of the BTCC weekend at Silverstone. 🟠 Alliance Automotive Group Benelux Alliance Automotive Group Benelux recently acquired Harry Banis in Bussum, Huizen and Almere. Harry Banis B.V. is a wholesaler of car parts, a Bosch service centre specialising in diesel technology, and RDW, a recognised manufacturer of license plates. These wholesale establishments are included in the PartsPoint network. 🔵 Alliance Automotive Group France Alliance Automotive Group France has successfully wrapped up EQUIP AUTO on Tour, a trade show aimed at professionals in the automotive aftersales industry and connected mobility services. The team was delighted to host attendees in Rennes on Saturday 28th September, marking the final day of the event! 🟠 Alliance Automotive Group Germany In Germany, the Münster headquarters gleams with the European Alliance Automotive Group's branding. From new flags adorning the site to the revamped entrance of the administration building and logos affixed to the logistics halls, the site has undergone a significant transformation. 🔵 Alliance Automotive Group Iberia In Iberia, more than 10,000 people enjoyed the 2nd edition of the NAPA Racing Weekend 2024, which took place at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia. The blue and yellow colors were once again the protagonists of the event; a true motor party in which more than 4,000 NAPA guests were present. 👏🏻

Meet Rob Jansen, the Regional Operations Manager in the Netherlands! 👋🏼 Rob has been a valuable colleague of the PartsPoint team since 2005 and became a part of the Alliance Automotive Group family when the acquisition took place in 2019. Rob thoroughly enjoys being a part of the Alliance Automotive Group, particularly the collaborative work with his team and colleagues to achieve the company's objectives. He’s also thankful for the opportunities he has had to grow within the organisation over the years. Outside of work, Rob is an avid football player and enjoys going for runs. Understanding the difference between State of Health (SoH) and State of Charge (SoC) is essential, especially when it comes to managing and maintaining battery performance. SoH is all about assessing the overall health and performance of a battery. It indicates how much capacity the battery has lost compared to its original state. For electric and hybrid vehicles, SoH is critical for evaluating range, performance, and safety. On the other hand, SoC signifies the current charge level of the battery, much like a fuel gauge in a vehicle. It provides real-time information on the remaining energy available in the battery and is essential for monitoring and managing the battery's usage. 🚗 🔋Did you know that approximately 50% or more of the vehicle's net worth is tied to the high-voltage (HV) battery alone. 📍Location Spotlight – Alliance Automotive Group Iberia | Lausan, Valencia Spain 🌍 This month's location spotlight is on Alliance Automotive Group Iberia and their Lausan distribution centre in Valencia, Spain. Covering 1,900 m2 and staffed by approximately 41 employees, the facility houses spare parts for both passenger cars and commercial vehicles. The operations are spread across three floors: the ground floor accommodates the warehouse and a primary call centre, the first floor contains a secondary call centre and offices, and the second floor features an assembly hall. 🚗
