In a recent article for The Drum, Chief Marketing Officer of Lloyds Banking Group, Suresh Balaji, gives an inside scoop on Lloyds’ recent brand refresh. To mark the release of the new Link Pay feature in the refreshed Lloyds mobile banking app, we helped Lloyds Banking Group expand its ‘Power To Do It All’ campaign with a new suite of ads. Our team at adam&eveDDB helped craft the new Best Grandparents 60” film, which builds on the charm and surprise of the first burst of the campaign. The work is supported by additional creative across radio, digital and social media, highlighting how the Link Pay feature can remove the awkwardness and make it easy to ask for money back. This second burst of ads will continue to mark Lloyds’ significant brand strategy shift for Lloyds, which has moved on from its “By Your Side” positioning, to “Lloyds Moves Everyone Forward”. As part of this shift, the Lloyds app has been completely redesigned, bringing everything together into one place to seamlessly help customers, whatever their financial need, from brilliant everyday banking, to pensions, investments and more.
