In recent years, there has been increased interest in using digital health tools to improve healt... more In recent years, there has been increased interest in using digital health tools to improve healthcare outcomes and encourage healthy lifestyles. However, older adults, who often face challenges with technology, may encounter difficulties when using these tools. This study focused on understanding how elderly individuals experience the MySejahtera app, a digital health tool designed to help manage health during a pandemic. The research involved 30 elderly users through focus groups, interviews, and user experience evaluations. The study identified key themes in the elderly user experience, such as the need for simplicity, efficiency in the app's interface, ease of learning, concerns about security, and emotional reactions. Recommendations were made to enhance the engagement of elderly users with digital health apps. While the MySejahtera app shows promise for older adults, the study highlights the importance of addressing specific design considerations and providing support to improve user satisfaction. Overall, the research offers valuable insights and recommendations for designing and implementing digital health applications that better meet the needs and preferences of elderly users.

With the World Health Organization predicting a significant increase in the proportion of individuals aged 60 years and above by 2030, the imperative for digital literacy among the elderly becomes crucial. The review, drawing from 14 eligible articles sourced from Web of Science and Scopus, categorizes findings into two main themes: i) intergenerational strategies of instruction and ii) contemporary issues associated with intergenerational approaches. By exploring these dimensions, the paper provides valuable insights for researchers seeking to understand and tackle current challenges in instructing the elderly on digital applications, contributing to the ongoing discourse on improving the quality of life for the aging population through digital technology.

Formal specification is used to highlight an error in a specification. A developer of a system can detect an error of the system in early phase of system development life cycle. A verification and validation activity can be reduced towards the end of the lifecycle. It is about getting more things right earlier in the software lifecycle. A system developed by a student cannot be used because the user detects a misflow of functional requirement in the system. The user explained to the developer about the misflow using natural language, but natural languages are ambiguous and lead to misinterpretation. The study is to develop a specification for E-pracCs system using formal approach. The formal specification for the system uses Z formal specification language.

Hence without having a good understanding of the existing system we cannot extend it in a better and efficient way. DBRE is a process of extracting database requirements from implemented system. Normalization usually involves dividing a database into two or more tables and defining relationships between the tables. There are generally guideline for perform the normalization but it hard to explain especially for an example university student. It is because data normalization is the process based on widely accepted rules. In this research, e-pracCS is a system that implements the DBRE process on it. Then, a diagrammatic model is developed to represent a relationship between a data in the system and an introductory of normalization process.

This paper discusses the formal specification and validation for CSMA/CD protocol. The Z specific... more This paper discusses the formal specification and validation for CSMA/CD protocol. The Z specification language is used to specify a node in a network and a situation in a bus implementation for CSMA/CD protocol. One basic type, four free types, one global variables, two state schemas and nine operation schemas that represent CSMA/CD protocol have been specified by using the Z language. The specification has been validated by using theorem proving techniques supported by Z/EVES theorem prover. Nine theorems have been identified based on the nine specified operations. This study has shown that, Z has the ability to specify a communication protocol. Beside that, the usage of support tools during a proving process can save time dan energy, and reduce error-prone.
