The Simplest Measures Can Ensure Your Success as a Group! 🤝 As an Investment Manager supporting over a hundred thousand clients both individuals and group investors, we see the wonders (Accountability, Opportunity, Skills Sharing etc.) investing with others can have on members financial growth. But what happens when the group faces obstacles that threaten their progress? We evaluated some of the most common challenges groups face and how to overcome them ⬇ 1. 😣 Poor and inconsistent savings from members — Investing requires savings, so when members fall behind on their commitment to save, this defeats the ultimate purpose of the group. ✅ Make sure to communicate and share the progress of members and provide incentives like interest payments or other rewards to celebrate positive contribution. 2. 😟 Poor Communication/Participation - Aside from pooling savings to make grand investments, groups can be leveraged to expand the skills and networks of its members. But what happens when there is low interest and participation among members? ✅ Build accountability by having fun and engaging in virtual and physical meets that present opportunities for your members to connect. Poor participation is a symptom of something else. Remember to check on your members to find out. 3. 😕 Diverse Expectations —— Investing is long-term, therefore setting off on an investment journey with multiple people, each with stark differences in their goals can present its challenges. ✅ Discuss Your Goals First. Having founding principles and periodically discussing them can bring your group into harmony. Create a WhatsApp group or a shared platform which allows you to document these terms and conditions and share whenever the need arises.
