The Los Angeles Galaxy continues to build their roster looking to make an MLS championship run this season, and now they've reached an agreement with Uruguayan defender Mart�n C�ceres to play for the team until the end of the season, with a clause that has an option to stay with them for the 2023 season as well.
C�ceres is 35 years old and LA Galaxy will be the 13th soccer club in his career.

Jovan Kirovski, LA Galaxy's Technical Director was very pleased with the signing of Mart�n C�ceres and couldn't hide his joy, specially due to the wealth of experience that he will bring to the club.
"He played at a high level in Serie A and LaLiga last season and played a key role in Uruguay's qualification for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. We are thrilled to have a player of his caliber on our club for this stretch run to the playoffs."
C�ceres new coach, Greg Vanney says he looks forward to integrating him to the group as they get ready to face the final stretch of the season.
"Mart�n is a highly experienced and versatile defender that brings leadership, strong mentality and more championship pedigree to our team,", Vanney expressed.
LA Galaxy currently holds the seventh spot in the Western Conference, being the last team that will currently enter the playoffs.
Mart�n C�ceres has the Qatar 2022 World Cup on his sights
Mart�n C�ceres has played for Uruguay's National Team on 138 matches, being on the starting eleven in 38 of them, and was part of the team that managed to take the fourth spot at the 2010 South Africa World Cup.
