Today, we were privileged to be part of an exclusive presentation and discussion between Dr. Chase Cunningham (also known as Dr. Zero Trust), Dr. Jaushin Lee (Zentera founder and CEO) and Josh Zelonis (Zentera Sr. Director of Product) explaining the origins of Zero Trust architecture. Zero Trust architecture promises to revolutionize the way we view modern day cyber security with one of its core tenets: Expect breaches. Much like everyday life, setbacks will happen. Rather than expending efforts to try and prevent them, the idea behind Zero Trust is mitigation and deterrence. Mitigation through isolating the breach via segmenting the network to create waterproof integrity through the system. Deterrence through creating a system that simply costs too much time, effort, and potentially money to try and break through.
