TV show description:
This medical drama TV series set in Chicago’s new trauma center, is the third installment in Dick Wolf’s Chicago franchise, and includes crossovers with Chicago Fire and Chicago PD. The doctors, nurses, and staff treat the city’s most severe traumas, at their state-of-the-art facility.
Bright, disciplined, and capable, trauma fellow Dr. Connor Rhodes (Colin Donnell) is the newest doctor at Chicago Med. The always reliable ER chief resident, Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss), back from a stint in New York, is the brother of Chicago PD’s Detective Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Sofer).
Insightful and brilliant, Chief of Psychiatry Dr. Daniel Charles (Oliver Platt), could use a dose of his own medicine, when it comes to managing his personal life. Accomplished and demanding, yet humane, Chief Administrator of Clinical Operations, Sharon Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson), ensures her staff has what it needs to provide their patients excellent care.
In the third trimester of her pregnancy at the series premiere, ER pediatric medicine specialist, Dr. Natalie Manning (Torrey DeVitto), devotes herself to her young patients. Trained as naval combat physician, the unflagging but impetuous Dr. Ethan Choi (Brian Tee) has a keen interest in infectious diseases.
Dr. Sarah Reese (Rachel DiPillo) is a fourth-year medical student. A quick study who is used to being good at everything, she is finally being challenged. Nurse April Sexton (Yaya DaCosta) excels at her job and is the heart and soul of the ER.

What do you think? Do you like the Chicago Med TV show? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for another season?
I love Chicago Fire and Police, but Chicago Med is really showing its age. It used to be a far more procedural driven show than it is now; it’s like the writers have run out of new ideas and have fallen back to the “who’s sleeping with who” scripting. And Dr. Halstead should have lost his license to practice medicine and be serving prison time for many of his stunts; a real hospital would never put up with a doctor that habitually breaks the law and violates patient rights. To me, Chicago Med has just become another hospital soap opera… Read more »

I think the shows should be continued. They all have true to life shows that make it interesting
Keep all the Chicago shows on, they are great and the story lines are getting better and better.
Best medical drama series ever with convincing and true to life excellence in stars performing their roles. Fans are glued to the reality and common goal of conveying the message to the audience. Top notch and beautiful blend of characters. Keep it going.
How the writers manage in-depth character development between all the action is fascinating. Rings TRUE and is very informative. Brings up so many vital medical issues and patient treatment dilemmas. Producers: just make sure we can hear every medical word, especially at the 5 mins start, so as to follow the story better.
