It’s time for Animaniacs … again. TV Guide reports Warner Bros. is developing a reboot of the classic ’90s TV series.
From executive producer Steven Spielberg, the animated comedy centered on the adventures of siblings Yakko, Wakko, and Dot and a wide cast of characters. The series initially for five seasons on Fox Kids/The WB before ending in 1998.
Last year, Netflix began streaming all episodes of Animaniacs. The show has increased in popularity since and producers Amblin Television and Warner Bros. are looking to bring the ’90s favorite back.
So far, details of the revival are scarce but we’ll post updates as they come through.

Kids’ shows today are awful, both in terms of the quality of the animation and the content of the shows themselves. The 90’s were the last great decade for animation on networks like Nick and Cartoon when shows like Animaniacs were created. I miss the days when cartoon characters could be wacky and violent. Bring cartoons like this back to show America what cartoons are supposed to be like.
