NBC on Tuesday became the second broadcast network (after The CW) to lock down premiere dates for the Fall TV season.
The Peacock net will kick things off in late September with Season 26 of The Voice, leading into the Zachary Quinto medical drama Brilliant Minds. Premiere week will also see the returns of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D.
Come October, you’ll find new episodes of fellow Dick Wolf dramas Law & Order and Law & Order: SVU, along with second seasons of Found and The Irrational, and the new Reba McEntire comedy Happy’s Place.
November premieres, meanwhile, include medical mockumentary St. Denis Medical and Season 3 of Night Court.

What about Transplant???
They told TVLine they’ll air it when they need it: https://tvline.com/news/transplant-final-season-4-nbc-premiere-date-1235237678/
Could that mean in February when Sunday Night Football and the NFL playoffs are done? They will need to fill 3 hours then.
Read news story I linked. All that is known is reported therewith.
Transplant is the only show I watch on NBC and care about on their network.
The final season is a must see! Seriously.
I’m excited for the Chicagos, Irrational and Found
I’m going to miss Extended Family.
After the strike last year it feels weird to see all these shows with a late fall air date again. Sad not to see OC on the Thursday roster but bright side I can’t wait to hear Stabler and crew drop profanity on Season 5 Peacock.
Anyone know if it is being held until midseason on Peacock? I assume it’s only 10-13 episode season?
There has been zero word on OC premiere date.
Episode count here: https://tvline.com/news/law-and-order-organized-crime-renewed-season-5-peacock-1235200040/
I don’t know why they split law and order up. I loved them in a row like they were.
OC was underperforming in live ratings it was lowest of all 3. But apparently was doing better in delayed views it was either cancel the show or move to a place where it does slightly better no way NBC was going to keep it live with the minimum numbers it pulled.
What about That’s My Jam? I know they paused production a while ago, but it’s not even on the “Held for Midseason” list.
What about SNL?
Always announced much later in the summer.
Looking forward to The Irrational, the Laws & Orders, and curious to see how good Brilliant Minds is
Who needs peacock with this yawnitude
The writers needs to renew Law and Order Organized Crime back to NBC instead of it moving to Peacock boy we had a Petition and everything and still it wasn’t enough to Law and Order Organized Crime renewed by NBC and didn’t stop Peacock to have it instead I’m going to miss seeing Stabler and his family and Bobby and Jet together and the others after Law and Order SUV
One it’s the network who gets final say of a show not writers. Two petitions in the grand scheme only show how many people complain at a given time petitions certainly doesn’t finance expensive production which is what ratings generate no decent ratings no production costs and OC was the lowest rated compared to the other two shows. Three apparently Meloni wanted to do it as streaming given his past experience on more hardcore projects and because as a sixty year old lead it would mean less hours to work you think he still has the stamina to run jump and do shootouts like he did 20 years ago.
peacock and nbc is the same network. if u have peacock u can watch anything that’s on nbc.
cant wait to see all my nbc. and peacock shows…
Is Will Trent being held for midseason I don’t remember, but I know that it was renewed. It’s such a great show. Just wondered.
Oops WillTrent is in ABC And this article was about NBC sorry..
Whomever said The CW’s schedule was all over the place needs to keep that same energy about NBC’s. But since the narrative now is that we’re supposed to hate CW (for some reason), they probably won’t.
How about The Wall?
The wall is airing right now on mondays
Why are you moving Organiized Crime to Peacock? I love all the Law and Orders together. I would rather you move the original Law and Order to Peacock.
Explained here: https://tvline.com/news/quantum-leap-cancellation-explained-nbc-1235237627/
It wasn’t pulling the ratings needed to stay on live. Compared to SVU and the flagship OC was the lowest rated. There were only two choices cancel it or move to a service where it was doing respectably given the low numbers live they were never going keep it where it was.
Happy’s Place on Friday, that’s weird. I wonder what other comedy they will pair it with.
FRIDAY, OCT. 18
8 pm HAPPY’S PLACE series premiere
8:30 pm Lopez vs. Lopez Season 3 premiere
There should be sci-fi shows to replace La Brea, Quantum Leap, Manifest and Timeless. There is no sci-fi shows on NBC!
Sadly genre and sci-fi just aren’t lucrative for a network long term. One lasted three seasons. One lasted two seasons. One lasted two seasons plus a wrap up movie and one was moved to Netflix for a final season after barely scraping by for its first three seasons. Even when Grimm was on the air at NBC it had poor syndication numbers which was how networks and cast members profited back then.
I am binging Manifest now. Loved the first 3 seasons, but this season drags in too many spots. Have 4 of 62 to go. Would give it a thumbs up for originality, but it should have 3 seasons and done.
Still perturbed about Magnum PI. No more intelligent removing game shows.
I was so excited when NBC announced the fall schedule for The Voice. I love this show.
