All Creatures Great and Small might be in the family way in the first trailer for Season 4.
Premiering Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024, at 9/8c on Masterpiece on PBS, the upcoming run picks up in springtime of 1940 “with change on the horizon for everyone in Skeldale House,” reads the official synopsis. “James and Helen wonder when the right time might be to start a family, not knowing whether or not James will be called up to serve in the RAF.”
Meanwhile, “Tristan’s absence is felt by all, but no one more than Siegfried who attempts to hold the growing household, and himself, together as he braves this new world. Mrs Hall and Helen’s friendship blossoms as they look to the future and new trainee veterinary student Richard Carmody arrives, causing complications in the house.”

Oooh, a Tom Brady miniseries. Can’t wait to skip that.
I’ve really enjoyed All Creatures and look forward to the new season. Nicholas Ralph felt a little shaky as James at the start, but he’s grown on me. I hope the show holds up with Callum Woodhouse (Tristan) out for this season, but they set that up well; I also hope it’s not permanent.
