We’re proud to have participated in this impactful event that brought together key stakeholders to address the challenges civil society organisations (CSOs) face. These organisations are essential for community engagement, advocacy, and driving social initiatives. Representatives from the financial sector and compliance experts shared valuable insights that enriched the conversation, marking a significant step toward bridging the gap between CSOs and the financial sector. Together, we are advancing change towards greater financial inclusion. #FinancialInclusion #IGNITECSOs #StrongerTogether #CivilSocietyEmpowerment

We are excited about the growing discussions surrounding cashless and digital payments. The Caribbean's diverse landscape provides numerous examples of how digital payment methods, particularly through financial technology (#FinTech), can enhance human potential. The advantages of FinTech solutions are becoming increasingly evident in a region that has historically relied on cash transactions. In its latest issue, Who’s Who magazine explores the integration of FinTech within the Caribbean context, with this contribution from Dawn Nelson, Vice President of Financial Sector Transformation at #TTIFC, who shared that “FinTech solutions such as peer-to-peer lending platforms, remote onboarding systems, and various applications are enabling more people in the Caribbean to engage with the financial system.” For more insights on FinTech and its potential in the Caribbean, check out page 50 of the 2024-2025 issue of Who’s Who magazine: http://bit.ly/3Yp6vQ9 #FinTech #DigitalPayments #CashlessPayments #FinancialInclusion

At #TTIFC, our commitment to well-being extends beyond financial inclusion. We care about the health and future of our people. We believe in equipping our team with tools and knowledge that empower every aspect of their lives. In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this year, we collaborated with the Trinidad and Tobago Cancer Society (TTCS) to launch Project Pink. This initiative featured week-long breast cancer awareness sessions and on-site screenings, ensuring that staff and partner organisations could benefit from the available expertise and resources. This is one small step in the fight against this disease. We will continue to do our part to build awareness during and beyond Breast Cancer Awareness Month. #TTIFC #ProjectPink #BreastCancerAwareness #CorporateWellness

We are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between TTIFC and the Trinidad and Tobago Bureau of Standards (TTBS). This partnership aims to enhance the acceptance and receipt of payments collected by TTBS, starting with the Implementation Division. It represents the first step in launching a kiosk network program, designed to offer customers of Government Ministries and their Agencies more convenient ways to pay. As the largest revenue collector within the Ministry of Trade and Industry, TTBS will benefit from streamlined internal processes and modern payment solutions. Through this collaboration, TTIFC will provide technical advisory services and guidance to TTBS in adopting Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) modalities, including online payments. Together, we are driving innovation and efficiency in government services.
