Kaun Banega Crorepati 16: Contestant Banti Vadiva attempts Rs 1 core question; says, 'Main mere life ka sabse bada risk lene jaa raha hun'
The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 begins with Banti Vadiva, an Adivasi contestant who defied all odds making it to the hot seat. Hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, the show kicked off with the "fastest fingers first" segment, where Banti claimed his spot on the hot seat. Overwhelmed with emotion, Bunti revealed that appearing on KBC had been a long-cherished dream.

Banti shared a moving story about his humble background, explaining that his father is a farmer who earns around ₹11,000 per month. Despite their financial struggles, his parents always supported his dream of getting an education.
Bunti explained that they even secured a loan for his tuition, wanting him to pursue a better path than farming. He came to Mumbai with just ₹260 in his account, and now, thanks to KBC, he had become a lakhpati. He plans to use his winnings to pay off his father's loan and inspire his village to believe that dreams can come true, no matter how challenging the journey.
He said, “My coaching fees were ₹11,000, and despite immense financial strain, my father and mother always supported my dream. They struggled to secure a loan for my tuition because they wanted me to avoid a life of farming and find a better path. Even though we come from a small community, I believe our knowledge can make a big difference. I want to be a role model for my village because, for generations, farming has been the only path available to our people; I am determined to change that. I came to Mumbai with just ₹260 in my account and now, I have become a lakhpati, thanks to the show. With this money, I will pay off my father's loan and show my village that dreams can come true, no matter how difficult the journey.”
Amitabh Bachchan was visibly moved by Banti’s story and praised his father for the sacrifices he made. This touching exchange added an emotional depth to the episode. The first question Amitabh asked Bunty was about animals, which Bunty answered correctly, winning ₹1,000.
Banti went on to skillfully answer all the questions in the first round, earning ₹10,000. His confidence grew as he tackled the "Super Sawal," which he answered correctly, earning the "Dugna Astra" power. This allowed him to double his winnings to ₹1,60,000.

Later, Big B asked the next question:- Which Indian scientist wrote the book The Nervous Mechanism of Plangs? Satyendra Nath Bose, Jagadish Chandra Bose, PC Mahalanobis and Peof Birbal Sahni. He chooses option B and wins the prize money.

However, the promo which was shown next was what shocked the audience the most. Bunti attempted the Rs 1 crore question. While attempting the same, he said, 'Main mere life ka sabse bada risk lene jaa raha hun.' Banti took home Rs 50 Lakhs.
