'GOAT' Movie review and release LIVE Updates: Vijay beats Dhanush's 'Raayan' and Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2' on day 1 as it grosses Rs 43 crore

The film has ben made with a budget of Rs 400 crore ans as per Koimoi, the film has already earned a neat sum by selling its rights on digital platform and it now requires a business of at least Rs 374 crores to breakeven at the box office. And with day 1 collection of Rs 43 crore, the film needs to make more Rs 331 crore to become a profitable venture.

The film after its release yesterday saw 70% occuancy in theatres despite it being a working week day.

According to the number tracker, Sacnilk. Vijay's film has made Rs 43 crore on day at the box office with the highest of Rs 38 crore being from Tamil Nadu.

As Sivakarthikeyan watched the 'GOAT' FDFS in theatres today, the trailer of his film 'Amaran' was played during the movie screening.

It features an ensemble cast of supporting actors who have delivered big. The first half is racy though second half has some pace & length issues, but the climax is the clincher.
