We know visitors look forward to seeing the nations' circulating coins in production as part of their visit to The Royal Mint Experience. However, a recent change to our factory shift patterns means there will be occasions that our Circulating Coin Factory will not be operating. During these times, we will be taking visitors onto the factory floor so they will still receive a behind-the-scenes experience of the production of our coins, in areas of the factory that have not previously been accessible to the public. We’re happy to answer any questions about this ahead of your visit, or our tour guides can answer questions during your visit.
