AM General M 35A2 and M 35A3C

I spotted a 1966 AM General M 35A3C and a 1972 M 35A2 at Jax in Fort Collins while taking the Colorado Hunters Safety course with my daughter. Monstrous 6x6 military trucks, for sale; now this is a camper! Probably will need one of these for all her game...

Garden of the Gods

Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. It was a rainy day and the rocks are more vivid when wet. They offer a pretty cool rock climbing trek and entry to the park is free to the public! Get more info here; Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Springtime is for PT Cruisers

Well maybe it is and maybe it isn't, but the cars are starting to show themselves after their long hibernation. I spotted this little retro-ized Chrysler PT Cruiser at Centerra just the other day. If one must have a modern car it might as well have some flair, and maybe a turbo... I had a test drive in a PT GT a few years back and I enjoyed the ride. Not a Porsche mind you, but a cool little race-about.

It smiled at me...

Electric Motorcycle in Colorado Springs

I spotted this hand engineered Electric Motorcycle in Colorado Springs after having lunch at the Peak Grill. Good place to eat and as a bonus I found this strange gem sitting right outside. I was on my way back to work so I didn't have time to find the owner. If anyone knows anything about this ride I'd like to post details. Please leave a comment if you know where to find more info!

Looks like the lean angle may be a little hindered

That is a lot of batteries!

Chip Yates rode a home made electric bike up Pikes Peak not too long ago.

1961 BMW R-71

Here are a few shot's of a 1961 BMW R-71. I found this one sitting outside JAX in Loveland, Colorado. It's for sale for a very reasonable $9995.00. OK, I don't know if that is reasonable or not. From the tag on the bike it says it's a 1961 K-750. Regardless what it is or if it's priced right; it's cool and looks like it'd be fun to own and play with!

You, two friends, and an extra can of gas.

Beautiful old BMW with really bad tires.

Complete with blackout headlight

All the specs... in German.

I'm not sure, but that may be a gun mount on the front of the side car.

Mustang GT 350

I found this Ford Mustang GT 350 sitting outside Perfection Auto Body in Longmont, Colorado on the way home from the SID Inc. co-location. It just got out of the shop from a complete detail and they were doing some paint matching and other work when I saw it from across the street.  It is going up for sale at the Barrett Jackson Auction in January.

I didn't have time to look at the inside, but through the windows it looks excellent. I was on two wheels that day and had to beat the rain! If you look carefully you can spot my BMW R1200C across the way. I'll hazard a guess that it will bring around $30K on auction day.

I like the wonky angle on this shot. Pics on the iPhone are always an adventure.

An overcast day doesn't really bring out the Black and Gold like it should.

Ford GT40 in Estes Park Colorado

I hate it when I get in a hurry. I snapped a few pics of this Ford GT40 club in Estes Park. I got in a rush and didn't get the greatest pics with the iPhone. Crapshots. One of the rules of photography is SLOW DOWN... Gotta remember that.

Slow down and GT40 just don't mix I guess.

Anyway, I went camping for a long weekend with the family and ran across this flock of rare birds at Saint Malo Church just outside of Estes Park.

Feast your eyes.

The church is very pretty too.

Denver From the Museum

Happy Thanksgiving!

Here's a view of the Denver Skyline from the Leprino Family Atrium of the Denver Museum of Natural History. I was just hanging out that summer day waiting for my daughter to finish her class there. One of the best views in Denver.

Here are a couple more shots taken in November 2012. They finished the fountain! Also an interior of the strangely intriguing Leprino Family Atrium.
