GuideDoc Review
GuideDoc is a global curated documentary on-demand video streaming service with approximately 1,300+ movies with new titles added daily. The library includes mostly award-winning documentaries that were featured at Sundance, Cannes, the Academy Awards, Tribeca Film Festival, among other well-known festivals.
The subscription plan is $7.99 per month. There is no free trial, however 50% of all the money that GuideDoc receives from subscribers goes directly to the filmmakers.

We tested GuideDoc and other subscription streaming services for more than 100 hours. GuideDoc is compatible with Apple TV, Google Chromecast, Android TV, iPhone/iPad, Mac, Windows, LG Smart TV, Samsung Smart TV, Sony Smart TV, and VIZIO Smart TV.

Viewers can select from wartime films like the Oscar-winning “Tunisian Victory” or “Why We Fight: War Comes to America” directed by Frank Capra, as well as the film “DOEL,” “Elegy of a Crime” (about a Brazilian murder victim), and the short film “Featherfall” (gaming).
