Acer Predator X27 4K IPS G-SYNC HDR Monitor
The Acer Predator X27 is a 27-inch 4K Ultra-HD IPS display with a resolution of 3840×2160. It features NVIDIA G-SYNC HDR technology with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The G-SYNC technology ensures a smooth and tear-free gaming experience while HDR technology ensures you get deep blacks and bright lights (whites).
The stock refresh rate of this monitor is 120Hz which is already doubled compared to the typical 60Hz monitor. The 144Hz is actually an overclocked speed if 120Hz is simply not enough for you. However, considering the current GPU technology today; it’s quite difficult to reach 120 frames per second on a 4K UHD even with a GTX 1080 Ti. Well, of course that depends on the game you are playing and how graphics intensive it is or the graphics settings. But generally, most AAA game titles are graphics intensive and 4K UHD is quite difficult to drive at the moment. Hopefully, much faster GPUs will be released soon to catch up and maximize the potential of this monitor.
When it comes to brightness, the Acer Predator X27 features 1000 nits peak luminance (600 nits native) with 384 FALD backlighting zones. It also features quantum dots making it possible to offer a wide range of sRGB color gamut; 100% sRGB and 99% Adobe RGB.
