Chase Beardsley joined The Hockey Writers in July 2023 and covers the league's newest team: the Utah Hockey Club as a credentialed writer. Previously, he was a credentialed Arizona Coyotes and Tucson Roadrunners writer for the site. He is a student at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications at Arizona State University pursuing a bachelor's degree in sports journalism. Outside of The Hockey Writers, Beardsley is the team reporter for the ASU women's ACHA D1 hockey team along with being a broadcaster and writer for multiple clubs at ASU.
