What to know: Wednesday marks just the second game between the two programs since the 1998-99 season. Washington earned a 70-63 victory over the Hawkeyes at the Puerto Rico Clasico on Nov. 30, 2019.
Iowa is in the midst of its first five-game losing streak since 2013. The Hawkeyes’ most recent six-game skid came in 1999.
Those five losses have come by a combined 24 points.
The Hawkeyes are coming off a 50-49 loss at Oregon, scoring just 17 second-half points.
Iowa’s Hannah Stuelke is expected to miss her second straight game due to effects from a concussion suffered last week.
Washington can shoot. The Huskies are second in the Big Ten in field-goal percentage (.469), first in 3-point percentage (.366) and second in free-throw percentage (.778).
Sayvia Sellers (5-7 sophomore guard) and Elle Ladine (5-11 junior guard) average 16.8 and 16.0 points per game for the Huskies.
The Huskies’ last game was an 87-58 win home win over Purdue on Saturday. UW is 10-2 at home this season.
