Paige is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Educational Psychology with an emphasis in Developmental Sciences. She joined the Neurobiological Lab for Learning and Development in Fall 2020.
Paige’s research interests encompass early childhood play behaviors, risky play, and emotional and self-regulation in both early and middle childhood. Additionally, she is interested in how individual differences, such as socioeconomic status, ethnic background, and family structure, impact the development of emotional, behavioral, and cognitive systems. Currently, Paige serves as the project manager for the Play Project in the Neurobiological Lab for Learning and Development at Texas A&M University, where she explores the dynamics of play and its role in child development. Through her work, Paige aims to understand and promote healthy developmental trajectories for children from diverse backgrounds.
