James Magnus-Johnston

James Magnus-Johnston is an economist whose research examines the intersection of institutions, ideology, and the environment. He is the Chair of Political Studies at Canadian Mennonite University and serves as the Director of its Centre for Resilience. Currently he's a PhD researcher at McGill University’s Sustainable Futures Research Lab, where he studies the relationship between energy, the debt-based money system, and conflict, which builds on earlier research at Cambridge University.
