Conor Wilson is a Lecturer in Criminal Justice and Criminology and interdisciplinary researcher within the school of School of Education and Social Science at the University of the West of Scotland. Conor has a varied research and teaching interest, which focuses on three main areas. The first area is on contemporary practices of territorial stigmatisation and the relationship between crime, stigma and urban politics. His second area of interest is on the criminalisation of football supporters, with a specific focus on police stop & search tactics at Scottish football matches. Finally, and more recently, Conor has been researching crimmigration, visual criminology and the politics of migration in the UK. He has published many on these themes in journals such as Urban Geography and Soccer & Society.
