Christina Fawcett

As a monster theorist, young people's texts and media, and video game scholar, Dr. Fawcett works in embodiment, engagement, trauma and monstrosity in participatory digital media. Her work on Resident Evil appears in The Playful Undead and Video Games (Routledge 2019), Krankheit in Digitalen Spielen (Transcript 2020).
She is the reviews editor for Jeunesse: young people, texts, cultures, a member of CRiCS and CRYTC, and teaches in genre literature and media at the University of Winnipeg.
She will be teaching at Grande Prairie Regional College for the 2021-22 school year.
