Cheryl Carleton is a Professor in the Economics Department at the Villanova School of Business, Villanova University where she teaches courses in Micro Theory, Labor Economics, Global Political Economy and Women in the Economy. In addition she serves as the Director for the Villanova Women's Professional Network and on the steering committee for the University's Gender and Women's Studies Program. Before coming to Villanova she worked at the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, D.C. Her main area of research is in labor economics and more particularly issues around women in the labor force.
