Britta is a Research Fellow in the Tobacco Control Research Group. She is interested in the commercial determinants of health and how commercial actors influence policy and what is, and can be, done about it. Most of her ongoing research focuses on tobacco industry interference in policymaking, and the role of tobacco control advocacy. She also works on intimidation in tobacco control and other areas of public health.
Britta holds a PhD in Social and Policy Sciences from the University of Bath, UK and is an alumna of the Erasmus Mundus Masters in Public Policy.
